Photo Contest Campaign Terms and Conditions
Those applying (hereinafter referred to as "applicants") must read and agree to the following before applying.

1. Regarding photo submission and publication

• Only photos taken by the applicant will be eligible.

• If there are people other than the applicant in the photo, please obtain their permission before posting the photo.

• If you are under the age of 18, it shall be deemed that you have obtained the consent of your guardian.

• Applicants are required to declare and guarantee the "Win the Photo Contest and Travel with SHIP'S CAT, the Guardian of Hopeful Journeys Campaign Secretariat (hereinafter referred to as "secretariat" or "we")" that the applicants have the legal rights to submit the published data and that the published data does not infringe upon any rights of third parties.

• Secretariat shall not be liable for any accidents, data damage, or loss during transmission when posting.

• Secretariat shall not be liable for any infringement of third party rights (e.g. portrait rights), caused by objects that can be seen in submitted photos.

• The copyright of the submitted posts belongs to the photographer. However, the right of use belongs to the secretariat. The posts may be used without the applicant's permission free of charge on social media platforms (e.g. Instagram), websites, online advertisements, printed materials, exhibitions, etc.

2. Invalidity of application

• Applications will be deemed invalid under any of the following conditions:

• Posting outside of the campaign period.

• Posting without the hashtag " #WeBase_SHIPSCAT2024 ".

• Posts that do not adhere to the participation guidelines.

• Submission of more than 11 posts by the same applicant.

• Any infringement of third party rights (e.g. copy rights), any detereoration of honor, credibility, or privacy, any nuisance, any other law violation, and/or anything the secretariat decides that it may fall under any of these categories.

• Expressions which defame third parties or other companies (including other products), discriminatory expressions, expressions that may incite hatred, and other expressions that contradicts public policy, and/or the secretariatis decides that it may fall under any of these categories.

• Content intended for advertising, promotion, solicitation, or commercial purposes.

• Content containing personal information such as addresses, names, phone numbers, etc.

• In addition to the above, any content that the secretariat has deemed unsuitable for reasons such as not aligning with the purpose of this campaign.

3. Disclaimer/Other

• Instagram is not involved in supporting, approving, or managing this campaign.

• This campaign may be canceled or the prize contents may be changed if there is any compelling reason to do so.

• Due to maintenance or other reasons, the event may temporarily be unavailable for the applicants during the campaign period.

• Secretariat will not respond to inquiries regarding the selection and/or prize winners.

• Personal information of prize winners will not be disclosed or provided to any third party other than the outsourcing company without the prize winner's consent. (Except when disclosure is required by law, etc.)

• Although we operate this campaign with the utmost care, the information, programs, various services, and other matters related to this campaign does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, safety, usefulness, etc. whatsoever. Additionally, the secretariat shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users or third parties, including the following cases.

　　1. When applying for this campaign, if an emergency situation such as a software or hardware accident, fire, power outage, deterioration of the communication environment, earthquake, or other incident occurs.
　　2. When performing regular or emergency system maintenance for this campaign.
　　3. In the event of dissension, confrontation,etc. between users or between users and a third party.
　　4. If the service is interrupted or delayed, or any defect occurs due to interference with the campaign service or information modification by a third party.
　　5. If applicants fail to obtain complete information because they applied for this campaign from an environment other than the one recommended by the secretariat.
　　6. If the information provided by this campaign is sent incorrectly or is defective without intentional or gross negligence.
 

• Secretariat shall not be liable for any trouble or damage (direct or indirect) caused to applicants as a result of applying for this campaign.

• Secretariat may change or cancel this campaign without prior notice to applicants. Furthermore, if deemed necessary, secretariat may change these Terms without prior notice to applicants, and may take the necessary measures to ensure the appropriate operation of this campaign.

• Internet connection fees and communication costs associated with applying for this campaign will be borne by the applicant.
